The chapter opens with a flashback to the night before, when Yuka and her husband had gone to the salon to have a drink. Yuka tells her husband that she has been having an affair with another man, and Yuka asks her husband if he would forgive her if she ever had a sexual affair with anyone else. She tells him that she would never do such a thing to him, and he says that he would never forgive anyone who had ever taken the man he loved from him. He tells Yuka that he has been losing weight lately, and that he wishes he had a bath room so that he could lose some of it. He asks Yuka if she has received any messages from Yuka, and she says that she hasnt. He says that if she had said anything, then he would be worried, but that he is also interested in her and her man, but he is not sure if it is her luck that has asked her to have such a bad marriage. He adds that Yuka's father bought the house for them, even though Yuka had only been an only child. The chapter ends with Yuka asking her husband why he is so hard on her. She says that it has been so long since she has had an affair. She asks him if he has ever thought about her cheating, and when he says no, she exclaims that she could have been wrong.
