The next morning, Asahi and her mother discuss the events of the night before. Asahi tells her mother that she met a man in a hotel and ran away, but that she did not tell him her real name. When Asahi asks if there is anything between them, she is told that there is nothing between them now. When she asks if she can trust him, he tells her that he did not want anyone to hear what she had to say. She tells him that she was talking about work and that she had locked herself in the room because she wanted to talk to someone else. She asks him if he is going to go easy on Asahi again, and he says that he will. As he is about to leave, his mother tells him to hurry up and take her place.
