Asahi and kanda have been talking, and Asahi tells her that she has become so close to her husband that she fears for his life. She tells him that she had a fight with her maid, who was screaming in front of her door. Asahi says that she did not mean to hurt Asahi, but that she must hate her husband. She says that kanda told her that there was no such thing as a relationship between her and her husband, and that she would be the only bad person in the world if she tried to make Asahi hate him. She adds that she never wanted to make her husband hate her, and she knows that what kanda says is true, but she still hopes that she can do something to help him.
