The chapter opens with a description of the wet-penetrating storage room in which Ga and Asahi are waiting for their husbands to return from the night club. Ga is worried that his hands are slippery and that they will not be able to open the door while he is stuck in the room. He tries to talk to Asahi, but she refuses to tell him anything. Ga tells Asahi that he has a lot he wants to talk about, but he does not want to be like the man who raped him. As he is eating, Ga asks Asahi if there is someone she is in love with. Asahi says that she is not, and Ga tells him that he should not tell anyone else.
