Hiroshi admits that he ran away from her when he realized that he had gone "way too far" in his love for her. He regrets that he was so cruel to her, and he hopes that they can have a "cooperative" relationship for the sake of the book. Hiroshi says that he will let bygones "be bygones" and that he is happy that he could meet him today. He tells Hiroshi that the editor may choose him over him, and that it is his "intuitive" ability to "attract absolutely perfect people at his job" that makes him want to work with him. After Hiroshi leaves, he tells the audience that he just received a job writing a book for a famous editor. The editor came to the award ceremony and talked to him about the book, which makes him happy. He asks if he is afraid of being too close to his goal all at once
