It's Only You That I Want

When he first met the goddess, he thought he could become her comrade, but he was only a "watcher," so he couldn't become her friend. After that, she was no longer the warrior that he had known. What should he have done? He had suspicions that humans had to create warriors in order to rid the world of demons and avoid its fate of destruction. The ones who created the warriors were our ancestors, who threw away those who tried to defend them and made their descendants watch them for their whole lives. The fact that he's the descendant of these "pieces of trash" doesn't make him any less of a threat to freesia. He tells her that if she beats him, he'll tell her what she's hiding. He warns her that she might die if she stays like that. He also tells her to be careful with the magic tool because it's dangerous. He says that if he could just break it, he wouldn't be able to handle it anymore. He's heard that the tool eats up the life force of the user, but that's more than he thought it would be. If he were a demon, he could do something against her. He knows that this is selfish, but humans always have been selfish. He wants to protect his dream.
