In this chapter, we learn that freesia has lost some of her strength, and that she's been cooking less and less. We also learn that clover and freesia have been secretly dating for a long time, which is why they're not allowed to be friends with their father's family. We learn that the two of them have a lot in common, including their love for one another, which makes them both afraid to do anything dangerous with one another. They're both afraid that their parents will find out about their relationship, so they won't be able to have sex. They also know that their father hates them both, so if they found out that they were together, they'd be dead. Finally, they decide to go get help for freesia, and she starts to fall, and they rush to the hospital.
