Now that he's been in the sealed room for a while, the monster realizes that he doesn't have a choice. He wants to destroy everything, but he can't use magic to do so. He's tired of being a parent to his children and wants to stop selling his conscience. He asks how much farther they have to go before he can use magic. The sealed room is a huge building, but it's impossible to find a way to use magic there. He wonders if he would be able to be someone special to her now that she's gone, or if it would be different now. He begs her to open her eyes and let him in.
