About This Chapter
The sea spirit tells the boy that he saw the wave, rushed to use his magic, and ended up using a lame looking staff. The boy is embarrassed at the sight of the people he was with, and wonders why they didn't just run away to safety. He also wonders why the sea spirit couldn't figure out what was going on in the freesia. He says that the magic he used was probably useless, and that he's coming to save the boy. He's going to eat the boy and replenish his power, and the boy is going to be grateful that he isn't eating garbage like him. The two men decide to fight, but the boy doesn't want to, because he feels like his body is too heavy to move. He asks if this is what he wants, and says that whenever he felt suffocated, he promised to help, but he got angry on his behalf. So, he wants to help the boy too, and promises to give him as much as he wants. He wants to know why the boy can't sleep because he lost his memories, and he says that every day, he felt like he was in the sea. He promises to stay by the boy's side until he eats all of his power.
