The group realizes that they're being chased by the members of the association and they decide to continue on their way. As they continue on, they run into the "great demon prelude" , who tells them that he's going to have a fight with them. He also tells them to go upstairs to find his mom and the "warrior's heart" . He's not sure if he can keep blocking them, but he doesn't want to tell them what he needs to say. He tells them they'll have to fight him, and then he starts to freak out. He starts to worry about where his mom is and where her heart is, and how he'll even get there if he finds her heart. He says he can't even imagine what he'd do if he found her heart, and that he would never accept it. Finally, he realizes that he has come to rescue his mom, and he apologizes for being so cruel to her. He thinks about how he would rather die than have his kids see him like this.
