He also wonders who gave him permission to touch his lips, and he wonders how he could feed him if he doesn't open his mouth. He's going to bring him before the judge, he says. He tells the wolf that he caught a white fish on his way back from the inn, and the fish tastes splendid. He asks if he should eat it raw, but the wolf won't, so he tells him to eat it dry. The poison is still in the body, so the pills work wonders. The wolf thinks they've seen someone nearby, but they don't know if it's him or someone else. They're going to leave, they say, because now that they can move, they'll have to get out of there quickly. They can't get into the city because of the demon sect's "confusing labyrinth" . The woods surround the city, and they fall into the "disarrayed labyrinth," which is a powerful trap for anything in the city.
