The story opens with a description of how the world came to be. Pan Gu created the world and animals started to gain consciousness and instincts. During this time, the demons and the devils ruled the south border, the wildland and the north sea. The humans were expelled from these areas. The north sea appeared and there were five sovereigns and three emperors. Since then, humans have ruled the world. The story then moves to the celestial city of daluo surrounded by endless mountains. The dayong dynasty rules the human world, protects its people, and has a small village on the foot of mountain mount qi. Lintao tells the villagers to stay focused and push the limits further. He says that the kids of the village are too weak, but they will make great hunters if they use strength. He tells them to rest if they cant keep up, and he says that lu Shaoyu is the best in the village. Lin feng is an orphan who was adopted by an old man on the mountain 15 years ago.
