This chapter opens with a description of the herbs on the swordsman's body. The herbs belong to the Yao clan. The young master of the sword, linyue, tells the young master that he has found a cure for the patriarch of the yue clan. He tells linyu that he will give the elixir to his grandfather. The elder yue says that he heard that the elder chen and the elder qiyun were killed by the younger yue, and that yue has messed up his plans. He says the elder clan brother, the fengyue brother, is a capable man and that the advantage is his. The yue elder says that the younger clan brother should not worry about practicing the sacred heart pills, because they can practice the sacred sword. The fengyue elder asks lin to tell him the reason for borrowing the four sacred swords. Thirty-three years have passed since the Buddha issued a decree ordering the three yue clans to collect corpses from the southern territories that had already died. The decree is fake and the buddha emperor does not kill. The southern territories are about to undergo a change, and yue needs to prepare some cards before he can be part of it. He asks the elder chi'er to consider him for consideration. He also asks yue to pass on the sacred swords to him. yue understands the elder's request and agrees to do so.
