Lin tells yue that if he had the chance to inherit the dragon king's inheritance, he'd be able to do it. Lin explains that the demon emperor hid the inheritance in the cauldron of the gods-laying demon-slaughter cauldron because he knew that Lin couldn't protect the inheritance. Lin says that he used his innate divination skill to find out how to unlock the cauldron during his 100,000-year lifetime, but that he's returning the key to the owner of the cauldron to make sure it's safe for him to do so. Lin asks yue to wait for him in the green avoid-qing palace above the cauldron the next day so that Lin can unlock the golden seal. Lin is convinced that this is the Karma demon emperor who Lin is going up against. He says that even if the inheritance is powerful, Lin will still be his brother forever. Lin orders all 108 of the saintesses to enter the hall of the karma emperor. Lin and yue turn around and prepare for the battle. Lin hears that Lin has been seriously injured in the battle and has been locked up in his dungeon. Lin thinks that the battle is about to decide all their fates. Lin turns to yue and asks what's going on. Lin realizes that the people in the hall are trying to stir up trouble against the karma-demon emperor, but he doesn't understand why they're trying to do this. Lin leaves the room and yells at everyone to take down the traitors.
