The next morning, Mingyue wakes up in the middle of the night. She's worried that Lin has fallen asleep and that she's about to lose her virginity. She begs Lin to help her. He tells her that he's got a plan, but he needs her help with the sky-rocking sect and thunder-cloud sect. He wants Mingyue to bring him seven-color, dark iron, dark steel, sky-reaching, wood, and elder Xinghe with him. Mingyue tells Lin that the thunder-rock sect and sky-screaming sect are coming to get him. Lin tells Mingyue that he has all the things he needs, as well as elder Xinghe, and Mingyue leaves. Lin is worried that Mingyue doesn't have enough experience making weapons, but Mingyue reminds him that these weapons are elite, and that he hasn't refined them very well. Lin says that even the most elite weapon makers can't deal with these weapons, because they're made from such a limited set of materials. He asks Mingyue what he can do to help him, and she tells him to take out all of the weapons. He's not worried, he says, because he has refined these weapons so well that he can make them into weapons that are indestructible. He calls them the "dark armor" of the golem.
