In this chapter, we learn that the ancient god of the go, also known as the "Saint of the Go," is the current ruler of the land of the three heavens, the "Feng Shui Sacred Land." In other words, he still rules over the land even though the woman who killed him is dead. This is because he is a go player, too, and because he has never played with anyone before. He says that if he loses, he will never return to the land again, and if he wins, he would like the old god to leave and not interfere in the affairs of the feng shui sacred land again. He explains that he has played with a man for over 600 years, and has never won a single game. This man is very good at go, and he is playing with himself every day. He feels that the gap between himself and the man is getting larger and larger, and it is impossible for him to play with the man everyday. He wants to see what happens, and says that he can get the man to come play with him every day
