In the ruins of the ancient city of Mingyu, Mingyu's younger sister, Lingyu, is playing in the ruins. She tells Mingyu that she has not seen him in a long time and that he is an "annoying man." Mingyu tells her that after the banquet, he had never seen his sister again. He says that he does not understand why her sister misses Mingyu so much. He explains that Mingyu is the only person in the world who can affect his sister's feelings. Mingyu says that the "so-called love" will turn into "nothingness" after a century. He tells his sister that her marriage with the "flamed god" is nothing but "a combination of interests." He tells her to tell him why Mingyu refuses to be his partner and why he insists on being his enemy. He asks her if she has to go this way. She says that she does not want that either.
