The young master tells the young master that he's willing to protect him with his life. He's afraid that the crown prince from the land of light has come to him and wants to know if he can trust him. The master says that men are bad and that's why they can't be trusted. He also says that he has kept the prince in the blazing temple because the inheritance of the temple is like a "delicious cake" . The prince is the "Prince of Light" , which means that he can do whatever he wants with the kingdom's resources. The two men talk about the ancient guardian beast, named "ying mei," that used to live in the sacred land. The beast disappeared, and the master wants to find its way back.
