This chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter, in which David fights Goliath. The flashback tells the story of how David fused seven different kinds of holy blood into one single person. The people who want to kill David have no means to do so. David is afraid that if the temple collapses, the souls of the people who died at the temple will go with it.
