During the 600 years that he's been hiding out in the underworld, Ling'er has never been able to communicate with the House of Flower. He's only recently become the leader of the Heavenly sect, and he can't leave it. He says that he has planted the red-flaming poison in him, so he'll never be able to get out of it. In the mortal world, he says, no one can compare to their own life, but in the heavenly world, it's said that they're grateful for their lives, so they'll die for their own good. He also says that if the enemy of the young master threatens him with them one day, he will try to protect them even if they have to sacrifice their lives. This is why he has decided to go into the heavenly sect. The young master is scared of the heavenly cult, but he'd rather die than be a burden to his master. He wants to go in order to protect the house of the flower, and the only guy who doesn't hate him is the guy who rescued her from the nightmare. The guy is the one who's going to protect her. He won't give her a happy, stable life, because she's incapability, but the guy is willing to serve her again if she needs it.
