Now that the battle is over, the guy realizes that he doesn't really want to die. He just wants to live longer than the other guys. He's a "kindhearted, selfless gentleman" , he says, and he's going to need to live to "sow the seeds" of love in the universe. The guy says that even an immortal like himself has a "must-do" in the world: he has to find out the murders and then "get his lineage to continue" . He tells the guy that he'll talk about this later, but first, he wants to thank the guy for saving his life.
