The young master sends a messenger to rescue the girl. The messenger tells the girl that the young master wants her to find the seven "Covenants of Life." The girl says that she has only found five of the seven, but that she cannot find the other two. She asks the messenger to take her to the altar, where she will find the "high priestess." The priestess, she says, has mysteriously left the altar. The girl wonders why the "evil looking state preceptor" has come before them. She wonders if the state preceptor is a good person, and the girl wonders if he is trying to save the girl, since he has failed to awaken her of life.
