In this chapter, we are introduced to George and his sister, "sister" and "sister-in-law" respectively. We learn that George is a "highness" , and that his sister "is reluctant to eat" . We also learn that the "secret pill" that George has been using is called "the yang-locking pill," which means "the locking pill" in Latin. George tells us that he has changed his bed, and now he wants to "release his ilove" in this room. He wants to know if there is anything else he can do to help him. He asks if smoking kills him, and the answer is yes. He then asks if he can smoke a pipe of tobacco. The answer is "yes," and the rest is as follows: "all my fatigue has cleared, and it is as if I have had a good sleep and sauna after a very hard day of work !" . This is a reference to the herb velvet sky grass, which is said to "refresh the mind, brighten the eyes, dispel ailments, soothes the body, and nourishes the lungs . . and if used for the long-term , it could also boost both Yin and yang . It takes George two hours to find his sister.
