In this chapter, we learn that the master of the poison magic school is a man named Sun Dawei, who used to live on the Golden Phoenix mountain with his master, an old man with a "blocked nine yin vein" . The old man used to tease the new master, calling him a "piece of caramel" and a "scumbag master" , but now that the old man has mastered the art of extracting poisons from the body to nurture it, he is a master of this art. He tells the old master that he has a list of all the poisons that he needs to extract from his body to see the "three realms" and to achieve "metamorphosis." The old master is reluctant to leave the school because he has been teaching the young man for the past eighteen years.
