About This Chapter
This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between amamiya and san . It's about the second time that suzakku has had to cancel a social event because of a player's refusal to play for the team. This time, however, the player is not ikue, but the captain of the team, who's so violent that she's splitting up the team into two groups. The captain is using her parents' influence to blacklist the girls' team, which is a gross violation of the code of conduct, says the coach. He tells the girls that there's "something in the box" that's bothering them, but that it's not really a big deal in the real-world. The coach says that the girl who helped save the team from a gang of girls was the one who saved them from that gang, not the captain. He asks the girls if they're willing to "step up" and "change the first years" if they don't like rika, and then "swoo it out one-on-one," as he calls it. The girls agree, and the coach tells them that he'll buy them all the phones they need.
