About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Tsuchiya is in the middle of a fight with his son-in-law, and that he wants to meet him. He wants to know if the two of them are friends, and he tells them to keep an eye out for each other. He also tells them that he's glad they're working hard, because it'll help them learn to play the game together. He tells them not to cry about it, and to practice more, because he thinks they'll grow up to be better than each other in the future. The coach tells the girls to ignore their father's team, and they all agree that it's time for them to grow up. They also agree that they need to stop waiting for their parents to get together, because they've been waiting too long. They talk about how the girls are growing up, and how they'd like to be their own bosses, not people's bosses. They're about to play, and one of the girls says that the team kicked them out of the match, and the boosters are complaining about how they should never lose again. The girls are playing well, but the coach says that they lose in talent, but lose in mental strength. He says that if their parents aren't at home together, they work harder.
