Niko and shigeru discuss the upcoming tournament. Niko tells him that she's worried about how she'll be able to get her things out of the studio if she doesn't come to the tournament. He tells her that he tried to talk to her once when they were in school, but she snapped when he told her he was going to a different city. When she came back from her trip last year, she was "too unstable" , and he tells her he's not going to ask her to marry him any time soon. He also tells her about his brother, who's a good friend of hers. He says he'll play door-to-door salesman for Niko if she wants to learn to play the game of volleyball. He adds that he'd rather have her learn the sport than have her play house. He's sick of playing the game, he says, and wants to know more about it. He asks yuragi if he has any time after practice before the tournament to tell her to play. . He then asks if he can give her a comic that he wrote for her, which she gave him as a present. He teases her about how much she loves comics and how many of them she has given him. She also gives him a copy of a special edition drama that he gave her as a gift. He jokes that they're going to have to go to a field trip or something if they want to play at the tournament this year. He finally asks if they'll go on a vacation or something. They say no, and then he asks why they've been working so hard to make it so easy for his brother to leave the team. He points out that he needs the team to win, so any time he loses, he needs them to win.
