About This Chapter
In this chapter, Manabu and his friend rumi discuss the team's problems. Manabu says that he wants to play nice with his friends, but that if they don't work together, he'd rather "kill calm down" than "freak out" about other teams' problems. He's also worried about Hasegawa's presence on the team, since she's so similar to the other girls. He doesn't want her to be a part of the team because she'll make them look bad, but he also wants them to know that he's not a fan of people who act as if they're "on the right side" of things. He also wants to know why the coach and rumi didn't tell the captain earlier that it'd be better if she stayed out of the way of the other players. He says that if the captain had said something like that, it would have broken her heart, and that he hates people who believe that they have the right to do whatever they want with their lives.
