About This Chapter
The captain asks if they can take a break. The captain feels sorry for his brother, who is sick. He went to the girls' final match to see them play, and he thinks everyone in the town is going to think that the girls are the bad guys. He also thinks that people's attitude towards itami has softened. When itami refused to visit her dying grandfather, the entire team went into on her. But people took it wrong way. He thinks that itami is pretty great, too, too. He says that he thinks that michiru is not doing well, though, though it is still bad. They take the tournament for the boys, and the captain says that everyone from the kokuyodani girls volleyball team is here. He tells the captain that when he grows up, he can't rely on his friends like he can now. He asks the captain if he could have dinner with him. He wants to know if he can talk to him about his brother's manners. He is sorry that he has nothing to do with itami's future, but he thinks he has an effect on itami. He goes on to say that he doesn't want itami to have a future, and that he would like to talk to his father about it
