About This Chapter
It's the end of the school year, and the students are all moping over their homework assignments. One of the students, shinochan, tells the others that he's feeling down and needs some practice. He asks the others if they have any practice, and they all admit that they do. He also asks if they're okay with the fact that they've broken up before, back in the sixth grade. They're not, he says, mature enough to be in a relationship with someone who's so young and inexperienced. He then asks if the two of them have started dating. They both admit that it's been a while since they'd been in a serious relationship, but they still want to be together. The other students tell him that they have been working on their coordination in the morning, and that's when he asks if she's lost her "special intensity" of hers. He says she hasn't lost it, and then he asks her if she wants to be the "official setter" again. She says she doesn't want to, and he says he'll borrow her. He tells the other students that the customers of the shop where he works are starting to complain about the change in his attitude, but he won't tell them what to think.
