About This Chapter
This scene opens with a conversation between a young girl in white and a young man in black. The young man asks the white girl if she would like to act in a short film he's making for her. The girl replies that she'd like to work with the young man, but she doesn't know who he is yet. She's not sure if he'd be willing to act for her, but the girl tells him that he has already acted in 16 short films, using his translation app on his phone. She asks him if he knows about the other four people in the group, and he tells her that they've all been making short films together, using the same translator app. She says that she thinks it's important that they all work together, because they're all the same age, and they all live in the same place. She also says that they watched all the other short films from the group and that they can all go to the same places in the world if they want to. She tells him to start preparing for the next short film, which she's sure will be about the same subject as the first one. She explains that they decided to change the subject because the girl in the white wants to make a new star out of her. She wants to be seen in a new way, and she wants the audience to see her in a different way than she is in the first short film. The two men decide that they need to shoot from the side so that the audience can't see her strike body. They also need to add sound effects to the scene so that it looks like the action is happening on the stage. They've already tried this on day one, and it didn't work out, so they'll try again later. They decide to do it
