About This Chapter
The monk and jangani are back. The monk tells the monk that the mountain has been purchased by a Tokyo-tion firm with ties to the underworld. He says that if the mountain is destroyed, more roads and buildings will be destroyed, valuable than his life. He adds that he will use his power to take revenge against mankind once he defeats the Tokyos. He asks the monk why he had to push a catapult to get to the top of the mountain, and the monk replies that he had three days to push the catapult. They find dozens of tunnels, and they hear voices from them, but no one has seen a dragon. They wonder if the creatures they see are "dinosaurs" . A survivor of the last battle described the creature as "an orc with giant fangs." The monk says that what they see is only a small part of the monster.
