The monster has been defeated, but not yet. The monster is still alive, but it's not as strong as it used to be. The mages have to erase three of the six magic circles to kill the monster, but they can't just erase one. They need to find a way to defeat the monster. First, they need to figure out how to get rid of the stomach acid that the earth eater uses to kill its own people. They also need to erase the monster's eggs, which are still alive.
