About This Chapter
Everyone is talking about how heroes don't need to use magic to do their jobs, but everyone else needs to use it to do his or her job. This is the moment when they need to strike. They need to surround the guy, but they can't get near him because he's using a spell. He's also using a curse, which is like a curse in that it's a curse on the person who's casting it. The guy is the son of the guy who suggested that the volcano should be built in the middle of the island. The dude's heart stopped beating in the womb when he was born, but he started breathing again once he'd been born. He was the one who proposed the volcano in the first place, and he'll be the one to die if he doesn't do something to stop it. So, the guy is going to die here, too. He needs to do something. He can use the breath of fire to cast another spell. This time, he can do it with a magic glove. It's called "creature magic" and it uses a magic insect as a catalyst. This makes it possible for a wizard to cast a spell with 70 percent of her magic strength. Without the catalyst, she would only be able to do 20 percent. But since the catalyst amplifies her magic, she can do 70 percent with only 20 people touching her. This means that if she were to cast the same spell with all the other people, she'd only need 20 people to touch her magic glove to do the same thing. So she could do 70 % with just 20 people.
