The next morning, Jack finds himself in the middle of a conversation with Rogers, who is trying to find a way to lure the people of the burning star back to the city. Jack tells Rogers that he suspects that his boss, the leader of the city, is involved in something called "rebirth" , which is a kind of rebirth where people are reborn from the dead. Jack says that he's sure that burning star already has some cyborgs, but he doesn't know how to contact them. He's worried that the old man might have planned to let him die, so he'll try to find out where they are.
