The next morning, Dr. Bledsoe wakes up to the sound of a huge explosion. He's not sure what's going on, but he's pretty sure that it's some kind of mechanical device that's been designed to destroy the human body. Bledsey is pretty sure he'll be able to figure out the reason for the explosion when he gets back.
