In this chapter, we learn that Dr. Bledsoe's sister, Dr. Barlow, is dying. Dr. Owen tells Owen that if Owen dies, he won't be able to continue to treat his sister. Owen says that he'll tell Owen what he needs to know when Owen dies so that Owen and his sister can live happily ever after
