The next morning, Ren tells the others that he is still wounded. He tells them to turn off the lights in the laboratory so that he can see what is going on around him. He says that the darkness makes him think he is doing bad. He asks if they deliberately led the man to the laboratory. Ren says that he only went there out of many rooms, and that he would have been better off showing his flaws and catching the man before he planned to kill him. After all, if the lab had been more secure, he says, he would not have had to be held hostage. Ren tells them that he doesn't have proof that the man committed the crimes he has committed. He adds that he cannot argue with the man at all. The corpse has undergone many chemical contaminations, Ren says, and it's impossible to know whether it is the man or not. Ren asks the others to take a little time to think about what the company has given them.
