About This Chapter
Back at the branch hospital, the doctor tells the others that the patient who was sent to the superior ward was lost, and that he has been guarding outside of the ward and no one has been allowed in. The superior ward has an escort service, but the patient is just an ordinary person. The doctor asks if there is another arrangement with the headquarters, and the doctor replies that the kind woman is better to be a resource than to waste the hospital's resources on her patients. He also says that the woman's husband became a resource the day before his wife's surgery, and she arranged it because he was "making trouble" in the hospital. He says that he is kind to the woman, but she doesn't appreciate it, and he reminds her not to make small actions "secretly" compared to him dying under her hands. He tells her that he would rather her under him more, and reminds her to not always think of herself as a good person. He then says that it looks like the man has lost his "mind" and that she was "too careless."
