When Toda asks how she's doing on the test, Toda says that she hasn't done too well. Toda tells her that she'll get a bite to eat before she leaves, and Toda thanks her for picking up her lunch. She tells Toda that her name is Arisa Sugiyama, and that she and her friend, Yamada, have been hanging out together all this time. She asks Toda if she has a chance to ask her for her number, and to her surprise, she says yes. She also says that the summer festival is coming up, and she'd like to go to it with her friend. Todas response is that she doesn't want to get ahead of herself, because if she does, the other girls in her class will fall in love with her, and they'll be jealous of her. She says that if she invites the guy she likes to the festival, he'll invite the guy he likes, too, because he's the one who invited her to the party in the first place, and he'd be jealous that she would invite him to a festival with his friend.
