The narrator notes that it is rare for a girl to look like this in front of other girls at school. He tells the girl that he has run out of wax and that he would like to borrow some from her. The girl says that she can use her own wax if she wants. The narrator says that the girl's hair is the best for school and compliments her on her new style of hair. He then tells her that she is back to her usual self and that she looks like her usual stupid self. He says that he prefers this style on her and that compliments from las do not mean anything to her. He goes on to say that he smells like akama and that it was the hair wax that made her smell like her earlier in the day. She tells him that she had lent him her hair wax but that she now smells like her. She says that her face is red because she has made a mistake and that her hair is to blame
