The duke's uncle tells him that everyone knows that he arranged for his son to join his branch because of his jealousy. The duke tells his uncle that his brother is soon to be married and that he wants to go back to his own home. The uncle tells the duke to move his house a little bit so that it's closer to his brother's house. When the duke and his uncle arrive, the duke tells the uncle that he's too good for his daughter-in-law, and that she's a good match for the duke. He tells her to be nice to the other students and not to tease them. He'll show her around the house and tell her all about the students' relationship.
