In the middle of the fight, Gu Lei, the headmaster of the school, tells his son, Gu changfeng, that he will expel his student, Linghu jiyue, from the school if she does not stop him from expelling Huanan. The two brothers argue about whether or not Huanan should be allowed to fight, and Huanan finally agrees to fight.
