The little girl tells her sister that she is alive and well. She tells her brother that she will not allow him to live like this anymore. He tells her that he will go to the black market to find some medicine. The old woman tells him that she has been selling the thinsg there for half a year, but she still hasn't paid her fee. She says she will peel her old skin and make a lantern if she doesn't pay the fee today. The girl tells the old woman that if she can't get the fee paid today, she'll beat her up. She then tells the little girl that she found a person today who is destined to become an alchemist. She asks the girl if she wants to be an alchemist, and the girl says yes.
