The duke's servant comes to tell Yudie that the prince has come to pay his respects to her parents. Yudie tells him that she will not forget the favor and will fight for justice for his parents. The duke asks Yudie to meet him in the Great Hall of the Duke's residence. He tells her that she is safe and that he is glad to see her. He invites her to sit down and have a chat. He says that he would have treated Yudie as his sister if she had not been so kind to him. He thinks that Yudie is a genius and that she should be able to accept the kindnesses of her sister.
