In this chapter, we learn that Chinglu is back in the lake with his students, and that the wizard god has not yet awakened. Chinglu rushes to the lake, where he sees that the summoner is none other than his own brother, who has just killed his parents. He curses his brother for killing his parents, and he tells Chinglu that he will kill himself if Chinglu does not leave him alone.
