In this chapter, we learn that the Governess is overjoyed to be back at home, and that she has sent a letter to her brother-in-law, who is waiting for her. The Governess tells him that her name is "Yu" , and he is called "Great" . He tells her that he has changed his name because he is afraid of losing his family name. He asks her if she is willing to change her name, and she says that she is, but that she will not force him to do so. She says that he must like her very much, because he does not insist on changing his name. She tells him to have dinner first, and then he will meet everyone, and they will cook so well that he did not expect. He says he wants to drink, and when he cannot, he staggers off to the yard, where he will be taken care of. He looks even lighter after the days of travel without good rest.
