In this scene, Caius reveals his true identity to his brother and sister-in-law. He tells them that Caius has been rejecting him, refusing to be his "side concubine" , and wanting to leave the island. Caius asks why Caius didn't tell him earlier, and Caius replies that it was Caius who forced him to do so. He also tells Caius that he has never harmed him, because they are brothers who fought together on the battlefield. He adds that he's forbidden Caius's consort to take half a step outside of the yard.
