In this scene, Caius learns that the other women have died from the torture inflicted on them by the commander, but that he has treated them much better. He orders his servants to make Caius new clothes, which he has ordered to be made for her. Caius tells her that she must have been bewitched by the vamp because she has been drinking tea with the commander. She tells Caius that they must figure out a way to deal with her, since she is a "mlite" .
