Now that he's recovered from his ordeal, the hermit is finally able to rest. He realizes that he can no longer bear to watch his sister die, and he realizes that she's actually a good person. He's also glad that he has someone to protect him and the others. He wishes he could meet his sister again, even just to visit her grave. Finally, he realizes, there's someone out there who can protect his sister and the other hermits. That's awesome. He also realizes that his sister is actually in love with a man, and that's why she was so happy when he saved her from drowning. That night, the moon begins to talk, and the hermit wants to be a part of it.
